Please join us the evening of Monday, November 18^th, for an exclusive tour of the Fireplace Centre and Patio Furniture Showroom, at 1722 Carling (corner of Boyd).

Home to one of the largest displays in Canada of all types of fireplaces – see the latest in gas, wood and electric units.  Also on display – outdoor kitchens, BBQs and patio furniture, as well as a beautiful line of antique Replica appliances.

Registration to begin at 5:30, with wine/beer and hors d’oeuvres (prepared on the BBQ of course…)  Parking on Boyd.

2012 NKBA President-Elect

John Morgan is a 20-year kitchen and bath veteran. A manufacturer’s representative, consultant, trainer, and speaker, he has served on advisory councils of industry manufacturers, as well as Virginia Tech. He authored the popular “Rep’s View” column in Kitchen & Bath Design News for nearly a decade, and currently represents nationally known cabinet and technology companies through his Baltimore/Washington-based agency, Morgan Pinnacle. For the NKBA, he has chaired the Certification Task Force, Council of Manufacturers’ Representatives, Nominating Committee, and Development Task Force. He also served on the Ad Hoc CAD Design Committee, Ad Hoc Governance Committee, and Board of Directors.

January Meeting

The January dinner is coming up this coming Monday, January the 14th.  Gary Eves from the Electrical Safety Authority will be speaking on recent changes in the electrical code.  He will be speaking specifically on how this relates to kitchen and bathroom concerns.
